A showcase of the properties of Alpaca and Creativity
Entries are invited for the Creative Alpaca 2016 Display as part of the National Alpaca
Expo 2016 to be held in Christchurch 7th - 8th October 2016
An opportunity for artisans and crafts people of all disciplines to extend their abilities
into the Alpaca realm.
Concepts of: warmth and welcome, attire of artistry, unexpected textures, luxurious fun, indulgent drama, return to the delicate, natural hues of earthiness, softness of dyed pastels, brilliance of dyed vibrancy, sculptured quality, elegance to embrace, yarns that
hunger to be created with, fibre of the gods, fine bone, intricate details, skins of
lusciousness, discerning pieces of creativity going places!
Have some fun!!
Open entry criteria, anyone may enter (members and non-members). There is no process limit and no size limit.
Use at least 70% of Alpaca fibre, bone, skin, yarn, or a mixture and create something wondrous for us to showcase at the National Alpaca Expo.
Attire (adult, child, baby), rugs, wall hangings, toys, sculptures, home wares, or anything else! Surprise us!!
Cash awards, the winning entry to be decided by public vote)
