New Felters having fun with Bernice

I've spent my last 6 weeks of Thursday afternoons at Toko Primary School teaching these great kids how to felt during the school's Enviro Art projects. They are very happy with their felt picture and their small pieces which they may take home with them. These children aged from 6 to 12 learned that patience is a worthwhile virtue and a necessary one if you want to learn to felt. Many thanks to Tally Ho Wool for the super discount you gave us on the wool for the children.

and here is another felt newbie, Al,  with the hat she made at our Stratford Eltham CF day recently when I showed how to make this HUGE wooly form turn into a most comfortable hat. We did lots of pleating and shaping but Al preferred the standard shaped hat with a brim, mine had a few more twists and turns,

If others who made hats on that day would like to email photos we can post them all here :)
How about a photo of a hat you've made in felt, email to the editor please!
