Stratford and Eltham Creative Fibre group felt workshop

This Saturday, 6th June sees Bernice Mitchell showing us how to make a gorgeous felt collar at our monthly workday. All Creative Fibre members welcome and if you're new to fibre work join us for a first time visit.
We meet at Wharehuia Community Hall, cnr Beaconsfield Rd and Stanley Rd. You can get there either taking the Beaconsfield Rd turnoff in Midhirst if coming from the north or Regan St/East Rd from the northern roundabout of Stratford, taking the Beaconsfield Rd turnoff over the bridge by the cemetary.
We start  at 10am finishing by 3pm and there is a $5 charge to cover hall hire etc.
If you don't want to make a collar you just byo project to felt, spin, knit, crochet or whatever takes your fancy.
Collar Requirements:
Felting gear, ie bubble wrap, thin plastic (I use painters drop sheet) or netting, soap solution/detergent, hard soap, water dispenser to wet wool, towels,
roller of some sort, (some short noodles available)

 any other felting tools they prefer to use,
scissors, needle & thread (if desired)
do we need
50gms fine merino,
silk fibres/hankies etc or other fibres/threads/fabrics

 etc for embellishment
