With a little help from our friends

Lydie Warmerdam, on holiday from Holland, visited a Taranaki Creative Fibre Area Day in Waverly last year where she really enjoyed the mini workshops on felting. This year when she returned to visit her daughter once more she contacted me to learn to make a nuno felt vest. A day was duly arranged, my husband gave up his garage for the day and in our gorgeous summer sun, we spent the day together felting. Lydie said she learned some really helpful techniques and tips to create a stunning white vest. Hubby Ben was a wonderful helper using his manly strength to cut the rolling time down, I'm sure he loved it too ...
Lydie tells me that she has had many compliments on her vest already and is looking forward to the cooler weather to wear it.
