Felt Focus for Taranaki Creative Fibre Area Day

Janette's Necklaces

February saw the members of Taranaki Creative Fibre groups gather in the small town of Waverly, at our southern-most point of the area for our quarterly Area Day. After sharing our most recent creations on the show and Tell table and sumptuous lunch was shared.
The afternoon saw a fun time being had by all once we split into four groups, all participating in each of 3 mini workshops with a Focus on Felt and a visit to Karen Workman's studio just down the road.

Although the weather was grey and wet, inside the Waverly Baptist church hall the atmosphere was charged with excitement, laughter and enthusiasm. Tracy White of Woodville attended as a trader and her goodies were well in demand.

Tracy's enticing wares, what to choose????
A final cuppa and finishing off the edible goodies before we hit the road to head home again having enjoyed a wonderfully creative day together.
